Women’s Fellowship
Women’s Fellowship is a vital ministry for the women of Huntsburg Congregational Church. We offer a connection to Christ, each other, the community, and world where we live and minister.
Women’s Fellowship provides multiple ways for women to connect spiritually, emotionally, and socially with other women as we grow, learn, gain confidence, and demonstrate to each other and the world the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Our journey of giving of ourselves within our Church and through community outreach is supported by our Church family, a big part of our ability to hold some of our outreach and fundraising events.
Our schedule within the Church includes and is not limited to, monthly coffee hours, birthday celebrations, Valentine’s party, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day celebrations. We celebrate with our church families in new births, graduations, weddings, and the celebration of life as one goes to their eternal home. We work with other groups in the church for events such as the Seder dinner, Pastor’s appreciation, worship with Blossom Hill. We provide mission donations to local non-profit organizations throughout the year.
Our Sunshine Fund allows us to reach out to and connect with our Church family by providing cards, flowers or other gifts to all members and friends during illness, births, marriages, deaths and when otherwise needed.
Our community outreach includes pancake breakfasts in March, annual rummage and bake sale in April, annual turkey dinner and basket raffle first Saturday in October, and other as scheduled throughout the year.
No matter where we are in our faith journey or what our status, God’s plans include all women. We seek to glorify God, offering events and activities for our church and community to support, women, families, missions, and encourage fellowship. We realize that some women may not be able to participate in Women’s Fellowship at this time or have decided not to join us at this time. We hope you will be able to join us in the future.
Our meetings are open to all women and held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Church with Bible Study at 6:30 PM and the meeting following at 7 PM. We invite you to attend and look forward to meeting you. If you would like more information, please contact Debbie at 440-632-3000.
