Statement of Faith
- We believe the Bible consisting of the Old and New Testament, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God written.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
- We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life in this present evil world.
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
- We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.
What We Believe
We believe in Grace Alone: Salvation is a free gift from God to underserving sinners, it is entirely dependent on God’s Sovereign choice and action, not on human merit, works or foreseen faith.
We believe in Faith Alone: Justification (being declared righteous) is received by faith alone, not by works. Faith is the instrument that receives the righteousness of Christ, not a work that earns salvation. It is defined as trust in Christ, rather than a mere intellectual belief.
We believe in Christ Alone: Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man. Our right standing before a Holy God is based solely on His perfect obedience and sacrifice on the cross which is imputed (credited) to us.
And to God Alone be the Glory!
Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into Heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.
Amen.
