Missions and Evangelism
The Board of Missions and Evangelism consists of three members elected from the active participants of the church on a rotating basis, for a term of three years.
Lead by God, they spread the joy of giving to others in a variety of ways, providing support through quarterly and yearly monetary commitments to several Christian groups.
They plan activities and experiences for the church which will lead to a growing involvement in missionary and evangelistic work.
Ten percent of the annual budget is divided with 60% going to local missions and 40 percent to state, national and international needs.
Local missions include Geauga Faith Rescue Mission, Cardinal Local Schools, Operation Christmas Child, and Angel Tree. Within our own Church we support Christian Service Brigade camp, GEMS, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, Women’s Fellowship, and Deacons as the needs are brought to our attention.
Throughout the State, National and International community our quarterly and yearly support includes the 4C’s, Good News Jail Ministry, Hope Ministries International, Life Brand Cowboy Church, RAM, SAT 7, and the Ohio Association 4C’s Missionary.
